Chronicles are containers, curated, moulded, sculpted and choreographed by the student participants in the COOP curriculum component. Here textual, visual and aural notes echo day to day encounters during the DAI's monthly study group gatherings. May Chronicle is created by Carlos Azeredo Mesquita, Julian Rieken and Lisa Vlamings as a part og th the 2024-25 COOP programme: Living Room: Rehearsals towards Place-making.

On Friday, May 23rd, 2025, at around 14:00, eleven COOP participants gathered behind the Vleeshal in Middelburg. Over the course of 5 minutes, each member, individually, drew on an A3 piece of paper what we heard happening in the public space. These were sensorial drawings, personal scores interpreting the sounds happening at that specific place and time. The drawings were then digitized and arranged side by side, creating one continuous communal score, with no beginning and no end.
