Special event with artist Hiwa K

Please join us for a seasonal walkthrough with artist Hiwa K and De Appel director Niels Van Tomme. They will discuss the works on display in Hiwa’s exhibition, the way they came about, and the many stories and ideas behind them.

The event marks the very last occasion to see our critically acclaimed exhibition To remember, sometimes you need different archeological tools, as well as the FOOTNOTES presentation A Sort History Of Works Dealing With Violence at De Appel.

On that evening we will also launch De Appel edition #02 by Hiwa K, which will be on display and available for purchase right on time for the traditional holiday-purchase spree! And we will conclude the event with a special edition of De Appel Reads.

Seasonal drinks and light snacks will be served.
