Kunstschooldag 2018

22–23.03.2018
de Appel, Schipluidenlaan 12, Amsterdam

On March 22nd and 23rd, De Appel took part in the Kunstschooldag (Artschoolday) 2018,  a two-day event where schoolchildren from across Amsterdam visit art and cultural institutions around the city.  At De Appel, children had the chance to explore the work of Tamás Kaszás, a Hungarian artist who imagines what life would be like without technology. As part of the day, the children would imagine what their own life would be like without cars, TVs, power or any form of modern technology. This allowed them to consider what was really important. They then produced a poster of their imagination of what this life would look like.
