Moe Satt

Description

Moe Satt (b. 1983) was born and raised in Yangon, Myanmar and lives and works in Amsterdam, Netherlands. His works deal with hand gestures and movement. His work has been featured in some group exhibitions, including Bangkok Art Biennale (2024), Documenta -15 (2022), Biennale Jogja XV (2019), and Busan Biennale (2012). He has performed in The tank atTate modern (2024), and some performance art festivals, “Kunsten festival des arts”, Live Art Biennale”; “Zurcher Theater Spektakel”; “Festival Bo:m”; “Festival Tokyo”; “Room For Performance”_ Bildmuseet, He was a finalist for the Hugo Boss Asia Art Award for Emerging Asian Artists in 2015. And Artist in residency at Rijksakademie(2022-2024).
