Maren Weertman (1998, Amsterdam) is a visual artist and dancer whose work moves fluidly between mediums, translating abstract—mathematical or linguistic—systems into embodied and material compositions. Through a poetic approach to time and space, and through the exploration of stillness, nuance, the sensorial, and the analog, she addresses ways of resisting hierarchical and binary structures.
