Artschoolday

On Thursday the 17th and Friday the 18th of March Stichting JAM organises the 29th edition of the Artschoolday! On these two days, about 6000 schoolchildren will hit the rail together with their supervisors, and visit three different arts institutions. Thirty-five museums, theaters and concert halls selflessly co-operate to make this happen. At the Appel arts centre the children can join in an interactive tour through Saskia Noor van Imhoff’s exhibition #+21.00, followed by a special workshop.

Workshop: from small to BIG? FROM BIG to small? CBA or ABC? White, blue, red, or red, white, blue? Mix up these orders and see what happens next. Artist Saskia Noor van Imhoff plays with these orders. You will see this for yourself when you visit the exhibition. And you will experience it when you’re taking apart a pile of books and order it in your own, completely new way afterwards.
