de Appel arts centre is pleased to announce the launch of The Fellow Reader #1.

On Boycotts, Censorship and Educational Strategies. This publication contains part of the research conducted by the first curatorial fellow, Renata Cervetto, during 2014-15. With contributions by international artists, curators and art educators, this compilation includes interviews, original essays and revised transcriptions of the round table Before and After Censorship (de Balie, 2015) and the symposium Surrounding Education. Towards new integrations with the curatorial and artistic fields (TAAK, 2015).

Contributions by: Erick Beltrán, Clare Butcher, Francisco Camacho, Juan Canela, Renata Cervetto, Etcétera... (Federico Zukerfeld and Loreto Garín Guzmán), Priscila Fernandes, Ane Hjort Guttu, Mônica Hoff, Yazan Khalili, and 'What, How and for Whom/WHW'.

With interviews to Charles Esche, Mariana Lanari, Sofía Olascoaga, Masha Ru, Eloise Sweetman, and Luisa Ungar.


The Fellow Reader #1 is the first of a series of publications where each curatorial fellow shares his/her annual research. Next edition will be by Inga Lace (Latvia).
