De Appel arts centre/Ann Demeester has been nominated for the Amsterdamprijs 2013.
The Amsterdamprijs is the most important art prize conferred by the Dutch capital and this year celebrates its 10th anniversary. The prize is awarded annually by the Amsterdam Fund for the Arts to three artists or institutions that contributed in an outstanding and stimulating way to the arts in Amsterdam.
The announcement of the winners and the award ceremony will take place during a special event in Paradiso, on 29 August, 2013.
