During the takedown of the exhibition Dirk Braeckman/Zarina Bhimji and the built-up of the show Bourgeois Leftovers, from 2-18 April, de Appel arts centre exhibition spaces are closed for the public. During this period and until the end of Bourgeois Leftovers a selection of (moving) images documenting previous projects by Curatorial Programme Participants are on view in the Chambre Séparée of MOES, bar and restaurant.
Parallel to the regular exhibition programme de Appel presents printed matter and images from the archives in the Chambre Séparée of MOES under the title Amuse-gueule.
Initiated in 1994 as an in-house international training trajectory for young curators, the Curatorial Programme of de Appel arts centre offers its participants hands-on experiences and skills for the further development of their professional career. Each year the programme culminates with the collective development of a final project at de Appel arts centre.
During the exhibition Bourgeois Leftovers, curated by the Curatorial Programme 2012-2013, a selection of archival material reflecting the history of the Curatorial Programme from 1994 to 2013 is presented in the Chambre Séparée.
At MOES, restaurant and bar.
