Allard van Hoorn, Skies over Snaefell event

Sunday the 20th of January de Appel arts centre will present a special interactive table that Allard van Hoorn developed for the light installation Skies over Snaefell in the central hall of the building. From 3 - 5 PM kids aged 5 to 10 can compile a photo-montage on this educative module, including legendary figures and natural phenomena of the skies over the mountain Snaefell in Iceland. The results can be mailed off or uploaded to the internet. This way the creations of the children will one day become part of the light-sculpture itself. Besides this activity there are special guided family tours through the current exhibition, a paper-craft activity for children to cut-and-paste legendary figures and restaurant MOES will offer cider and apple-juice.
