Thursday 14 June, 7 p.m. - Screening of the film “Di Lama Lamina” by Matthew Barney with an introduction by the director Ann Demeester – venue : EYE Amsterdam. Tickets : www.eyefilm.nl

Saturday 16 June – Screening of the film cycle “Cremaster” by Matthew Barney – venue: EYE Amsterdam. Tickets : www.eyefilm.nl

Wednesday 27 June, 7 p.m. - Presentations by the artists Melanie Gilligan and Melanie Bonajo and screening by Discoteca Flaming Star – venue: de Appel arts centre

Sunday 22 July – 3 p.m. - Free guided tour through the exhibition.

Thursday 6 September - Fundraising dinner for de Appel arts centre and Witte de With - venue: Atelier Joep van Lieshout, Rotterdam.

Sunday 9 September, 4 p.m. - Free guided tour through the exhibition.

Thursday 13 September, 7 p.m. - Presentation of the publication The Shadowfiles with lectures by Esther Peeren and Laura van Grinsven, amongst others, and the screening of Isaac Julien’s film Territories (1984) – venue: de Appel arts centre


Sunday 16 September - Ceremonial transfer of the painting ‘Carnaval en Flandre’ by James Ensor to the Stedelijk Museum – venue: de Appel arts centre


Sunday 23 September
3 p.m. - Guided tour through the exhibition with the director and curator Ann Demeester
4 p.m. - The Sunday School – an external expert discusses a work from the exhibition
