Workshop "Anyone van draw, Anyone can paint"
de Appel Boys' School
– Thursdays 1, 8, 15, 22 en 29 September:
6.30 – 8 pm : "Anyone can Draw", life drawing class with nude model
8.30 - 10 pm: "Anyone can Paint", life painting class with nude model

In contemporary art, knowledge of a model represented in a traditional way, true to nature, is unusual, let alone a skill that is required. However, the method still gives valuable insight into the art of looking and it improves your visual perception. During the drawing and painting classes you are trained in the basic techniques and you will discover how to apply different materials.

Whether you come to one or more lessons in the drawing or painting series, Yvonne will provide you with a sound basis to get you to work intensively and encourage your development, depending on your own wishes.

Yvonne Grootenboer (1979) works as a visual artist. She trained at the Constantijn Huygens Academy for the Visual Arts in Kampen, Kunsthochschule Berlin-Weisenssee and the Ateliers in Amsterdam. She is currently an employee at de Appel arts centre and can be seen as a performer in the work of Andrea Božić and Julia Willms in the current exhibition.

25 Euro per lesson (basic materials and coffee/tea are included), there is space for a limited number of participants, a reservation for each lesson is necessary: reservation [at] deappel.nl
