She says: '[...] particularly the shadows of the clouds projected on the mountains. These shadows change the form and color of the mountains, sometimes to deep purples and project massive shapes or completely cover the mountains. My performance is not a recreation of this, but a translation of my impression.' 11 July, 1.15 p.m., Regnboginn, Salur C. 'The film Direction is a première and a new work freshly finished. It expresses a realisation to the consciousness of taking a direction, without the aim of having a goal. The films are like you hammer the nail into the wall, and hang a painting on it. The form, having a direction, the sound produced, asigning a direction. To produce the sound, to direct the form.' 11 July, 4 p.m., Nýlistasafnid, The Living Art Museum Wies Smals, lecture 'Wies Smals talks about video and performances from the collection of Foundation De Appel which showed the last five years an international program of the latest developments in the visual arts. Some of the works you can see are by: Ulrike Rosenbach, Vito Acconci, Terry Fox, Alison Knowles.' 11 July, 9 p.m., Nýlistasafnid, The Living Art Museum Harrie de Kroon, performance 'My work is directly related to my daily life. Its essence is not in touch with the attributes I use except at the moment I use them. I only want to deal with the spiritual aspects of the piece; they must be clear, indivisible and straight. I do not work with symbols. The form depends on the space in which it is executed. Nothing is predictable; the piece has to be touchable to the end of it.' 12 July, 4 p.m., Nýlistasafnid, The Living Art Museum Krijn Giezen 'On the harbour of Reykjavik I started preparing the skins of the spotted catfish. In the gallery there are shown two jackets made out of the top and back skin of the sole.' 12 July, 9 p.m., Nýlistasafnid, The Living Art Museum Nikolaus Urban, installation 'The materialzied emptiness of collective illusions is stated in my mind as an unpredictable substance. I am handling it with impersonal care like the money of strangers. Art is also part of the currency.'
