Description

José Cardoso, Seydú’s father, filmmaker, illustrator and graphic designer; he has developed fiction, animation and documentary films, on themes revolving around surrealism, consciousness and anti-colonialism. His works such as Iwianch, The Devil Deer (94 min. 2021) and What the Soil Remembers (29 min. 2023), Flowers (29 min. 2024) was awarded at IFFR Rotterdam, Ann Arbor Film Festival, Sheffield Doc Fest, Regina, CSFF and Ningbo China, among others and selected at Sitges, La Habana, Oberhausen, VIFF, among others.
