Olga Micińska
Description
Olga Micińska (she/her) works as an artist, educator and woodworker. Her work combines the practical aspects of craft with fantastical anecdotes, while projecting grounds for cooperation, knowledge-sharing, and handling of material and non-material resources. Micińska explores the educational potential of art by rethinking the traditional apprenticeship model and using its emancipatory function within the technical trades. Her work has been exhibited internationally, selected venues include: 40th EVA International, 14th Gwangju Biennale (KR), Museum of Modern Art in Warsaw (PL), Tale of a Tub (NL), West (NL), Polana Institute (PL), Museum of Warsaw (PL), puntWG (NL), Marwan Amsterdam (NL), Thkio Ppalies (CY), CoMbO (SP).
