Niloufar Nematollahi

Niloufar Nematollahi (1998, Isfahan, Iran) is a curator, writer, editor, and translator. In both her work as a writer and curatorship, she draws on objects and themes rooted in Marxist and Marxist-feminist traditions in Iran. Her essays have been published in Dutch-language journals such as Metropolis M, and in English in e-flux, The Art of the Working Class, and Jacobin. She was also an editor at Jacobin NL. In March, she published, in collaboration with artist Katayoon Barzegar, the essay collection Monument Zero, which focuses on the 1979 International Women's Day protests in Iran and their historical erasure. Previously, they co-published To The Other Side Of The Concrete Wall, a collection of essays by feminist political prisoners during the Jina protests of 2022.
