Janice Kerbel (1969)

1969, Canada, lives/works in London.
Kerbel’s work relies on a stock of secrets, lies, repetitions and codes that are meant to be unravelled and to lead to belief and trust. In ON PATROL she shows the work Bank Job (1999) a perfect blueprint for a bank raid. Kerbel has exhibited in Vancouver and Toronto and was included in Post Neo Amateurism (1998), a group show curated by Unit at Chisenhale Gallery, London. In 1999 the ICA in London showed her work in Crash!.
