The application deadline for the CP programme 2010/2011 is 15 January 2010.
Candidates are invited to apply by writing a letter, in which they explain their reasons for wanting to attend the programme and what they expect from it.
Along with this, candidates should submit a proposal for a project. This proposal is hypothetical; it’s not meant to be realized at de Appel during the CP-course. The length of proposal should be 5-15 pages and should contain a detailed description of/motivation for:
- the concept and location of the show (main focus)
- the participating artists (including some image material)
- a budget of the show
- a publicity plan (not obliged)
Next to that we require:
A full CV in which an extensive description of one's relevant working experience is included. Please make sure your contact details and date of birth are included.
Two written (in English or with English translation), references of (former) tutors, professors or employers.

On the basis of the submitted documents a pre-selection is made in March 2010. Twelve candidates will be shortlisted; they are invited to come to Amsterdam in the last week of March for an interview with an international selection committee, presided by the director of de Appel. All applicants who aren’t selected for an interview will receive an official letter by e-mail in the first week of April 2010. Due to the large amount of applications, there will be no further correspondence about the results.
